Children's Bible's Stopped Working For You Too?

As my kids grew out of children's Bibles, my wife and found it a huge jump to read the adults Bible with our kids. We wanted our kids to start reading, understanding and applying the Bible for themselves, but where should we begin? I knew my kids had grown familiar with most of the major stories in the Bible but wasn’t sure if they could see what difference faith made to their daily lives.

“Unpolluted” is a series of video devotions from the book of James to equip kids to read and apply the Bible for themselves. Narrated by my crazy friend Anton and I, while we doodle away on and iPad, we take your kids deep into God’s word and have a load of fun along the way.

 At the end of each video your kids have clear, practical outcomes for their lives. They’ll also move away from the abbreviated format of children’s Bibles and learn how to understand the Bible, verse after verse.

I’ve tried just about everything to connect with and teach kids the Bible in the past 10 years of Christian ministry: puppetry, drama, clowning; you name it, I gave it a go. Lots of different programs, lots of ideas. I read as much as I could, wrote academic papers on child theology, spoke at conferences and performed to thousands of kids. Ordained in full time Christian ministry in 2006, I've trained as both a pastor and school teacher. Once I finished Bible college in Sydney I served as a full-time children's minister in a church, then as Director of Kidzlink (support organisation to kid’s club and playgroups) and now self-fund my own performing arts ministry, Anton's Antics.Anton’s Antics is outrageous fun. I love watching kids become completely entranced, soaking up all the great goodness from God’s word that is woven through each character’s performance.But live performance can only reach those wonderful people you have in front of you.
